Re: 38. Get/buy some sort of cataloging software & catalog all books, CDs, tapes, DVDs, video games, and videos
May I suggest collectorz.com if you have the money, which I realise isn't likely considering the savings goals. You could just stick with the trial version though, there is a limit to how many files can be added to each database before paying for each individual program. That can be got around by simply creating another file for each separate category, eg. TV shows, action movies, romance etc. for DVDs.

Also, re: 54. Watch every nominated movie from the Academy Awards (excluding foreign film)
Are you intending to watch "Every" film that's been nominated for the awards or just those from a particular year (or years)?

Thank you for the suggestion! I've had a few people suggest different programs/sites but I hadn't heard of this one before! I shall definitely check it out.

Good question. I intended that to read Every film that's been nominated starting with 2007 and going until my 1001 days are up... I should definitely go back and make that clear... otherwise I'm in for a HECK of a lot of movie-watching! LOL Thanks!

Waving hi!!!
Glad you started a list, you've inspired me to review mine and post and update.
Your list looks great, I'll keep watching your updates.

Well, thank YOU for inspiring me to do it in the first place!! :-) I NEVER thought I'd come up with 101 things I wanted to do! (well, technically 99 since the last two are related to the list itself and wouldn't have come about if not for the list...)

Good for you for reviewing yours as well! I saw your update *hugs* Looks like great progress so far!

Unfortunately, I wasted a whole night on this *pouts* but that's okay. We'll see down the road 3 years if the effort paid off, right?

Congrats on the list. Reminds me, I've been slacking on mine and really should post an update.
It took me a couple weeks to come up with my list...it was harder than I thought it would be.

I think I'm going to try to do that quick before I have to pick cousin up for movie.

Thank you! I'm glad you posted an update :-)
I think I heard about the idea from you in the first place. I've been thinking about my list since but yesterday I just decided to go ahead and do it. Several are from my new year's resolutions list, and quite a few are things I've been meaning to do for years and have never gotten around to doing. Hopefully we'll all make good progress as time progresses!

I ADORE you icon, by the way! *loves*

I can't find a thing 44 on the right-hand sidebar; what does this thing entail? I can send you a few state postcards, I'm sure.
KateKintail: Avid BookCrosserkatekintailbc on March 13th, 2009 02:48 am (UTC)
It's not on the sidebar because I haven't worked on it yet. What I was going to do at BookCrossing was propose a trade- a book off my availables list for a map postcard I didn't already have.

I've been collecting these since I was a kid and there are still so many I don't have.

The list of what I do and do not have is here on this page:

Even if you don't have anything I'm missing, thank you so much for the interest and the offer! Very sweet of you :-)

I live very close to Oregon, and may be in the Montana region this summer.

Do you just want state ones, or do you like regional ones as well?

Do you want them blank, or sent with a stamp on?
