List 2- My 101 Things
Here is my second attempt at doing 101 Things to do in 1001 days. This time, I have friends doing it with me who I see in real life every day, so I hope they will help keep me on track!

I will do my very best to cross the items off this list as I accomplish them. I shall keep this journal updated as I work towards these goals, with pictures/links whenever possible. Entries in bold are ones I have completed. Entries in italics are ones in progress, which are taking a while to complete.

Some of the Wizard Rock artists sell pins at their merch tables. I have a handful of pins from various groups (and another I just bought yesterday) and they're small so I didn't want to put them just anywhere and lose them. So I thought it would be nice to put the collection together on maybe a banner or something and display it.

Thanks! I had fun with my first 101 list. Looking forward to tackling this next list as well :-)

Good luck with yours!

Watching Star Trek is good, but Voyager and Enterprise? That seems more of a punishment than a goal ;)
Kate of Kintailkatekintail on March 12th, 2010 05:36 am (UTC)
Well, I want to watch all the Star Treks, that's just where I am in the timetable. I just finished DS-9 a few months ago (and I've already seen the first 2 series a gazillion times and the movies, of course). I stopped watching Voyager and Enterprise after their season 1s and want to finally watch them.

I realize it's all downhill from here, but I'm pretty easy to please. And I feel bad for having abandoned the series when it was on the air. It felt great to finally watch all of DS-9!

Shit, I totally screwed thing 86 for you. Sorry. :(

BTW, count me in for #71!

No worries about 86. As I tried to explain in the car, my intention for it was to take the webpage that had all the diagrams about how to line up your mirrors to eliminate all blind spots and follow the instructions. Then I intend to get someone in an empty parking lot to drive beside my car on each side at different distances to test it out. I hadn't done any of that. All I'd done was play around to where it seemed they were set based on watching all the cars pass me or that I passed. But I hadn't done any of the instructions or testing, which was really the whole point of #86. So no worries. As I said then, I much prefer you being able to see and not getting into an accident :-)

As for #71, OMG that would be awesome! What would you like to watch? I have mostly everything, but there are a few things I've watched through Blockbuster Online and don't yet own. Of course, I could be persuaded to buy them with this excuse. LOL I've been toying with the idea of watching them in order but there is SO much it would take a week straight at least to get through it all properly. I was thinking I might combine it with my Thing #69 and watch just the ones I'd never before watched on DVD. But if you wanted to join me for some Ewan goodness and had a preference, that would help my inability to make a decision.

*checks his IMDb page* Well, the only things I've actually seen are the Star Wars films, Moulin Rouge, Trainspotting, Down With Love, Robots, and Big Fish. I'm pretty sure I've seen either Velvet Goldmine or A Life Less Ordinary all the way through. (We rented both one night and turned on of them off early because it was boring, but it's been too long for me to remember which one now.)

So I'm open to anything, but I would like to request that for every grungy!Ewan we watch (like Trainspotting) we also watch a supersexy!Ewan (like Moulin Rouge).

Man, I need to see Big Fish again. Not that it needs to be part of the marathon, just that I do. I saw it in the theaters and not again since.

The grungy!Ewan vs gorgeous!Ewan balance is a good rule *G*

I'm kind of dying to watch Shallow Grave again (I've only seen it a couple times and that was before seeing Doctor Who--the actor who plays the 9th doctor is a main character). And if you haven't seen Ewan's episode of ER, that's a good one.

I really want to see Miss Potter finally.

You haven't seen The Island? Oohhh! That's two Ewans for the price of one! And a Sean Bean thrown in at no extra charge.

I liked Deception a lot; and you get Hugh Jackman in that one.

I definitely don't want to see Incendiary again. That one was way too depressing (though I own it on DVD). And The Pillow Book is just icky; I don't know if I could handle watching that again.

I love Velvet Goldmine. I named my cat after Ewan's love interest in the movie *G* And best screen kiss EVER IMHO.
Kate of Kintailkatekintail on June 18th, 2010 05:37 pm (UTC)
I also thought it might be fun to watch a bunch of Ewan movies where he sings. Singing!Ewan is a fun list. But if you didn't like Velvet Goldmine or A Life Less Ordinary, that's two off the list right there. And I don't own Little Voice.

And there's always the ever-popular naked!Ewan list! Though Velvet Goldmine is a good one for that as well. And, as I said before, the Pillow Book kind of squicks me. LOL

I'd be open to watching either VG or ALLO (again or for the first time - considering I can't even remember which one I watched, I don't think I can really claim an opinion). Singing!Ewan makes me happy. :)
